CUFC Lottery continues away travel funding

The CUFC Lottery is delighted to renew its support for the Club's away travel during the 25/26 season with a donation of £500.

On behalf of CFU, Gina Heath, who co-ordinates the away travel throughout the season, commented: 'Dave Matthews-Jones and myself (CFU Away Travel) would like to thank you very much for your sponsorship of our coaches once again this season. With your support we have been able to run coaches to all matches, including cup matches. Your support was especially valuable towards the end of the season when the coaches were less than half full, in some cases, due to team performance and results. Some of the long distance matches, and in particular those on Tuesday nights, weren't as well supported as earlier in the season, and you enabled us to still provide a valuable service for fans (most of whom would not have been able to travel otherwise). We ended the season with a near break even figure, helped in no small part by your kind support. Thank you again from CFU Away Travel and all our passengers.'
