Cambridge Charity Fund Raisers support the CUFC Lottery

Cambridge Charity Fund Raisers (CCFR) - run by Cambridge United groundsman Ian Darler - very kindly decided to stage their 2021 annual fishing event in aid of Cambridge Fans United this year. A magnificent total of £520 was raised, and those funds were used to purchase five Lottery memberships.

CCFR were supported on the day by a number of local sponsors, including Andrew Aspinall at A.R. Aspinall, Bob Barnes at Cambridge Lakes Golf Course, Steve Ankin at Herringbone Restoration Ltd and Tim Cooper at Coopers Trophies, Cambridge. The event was fished on Raven Lake at Rookery Waters, Pidley, and the individual winner on the day was Dave Keedy with a weight of 87lb. The runner up was Dudley Seal with 65lb 8oz.
